Not quite a successful thriller procedural for me. Lacks humanity for the gravity of what the situation calls for. Watching journalists struggle with whether or not to call it terrorism or ethical to show police sneaking around…that’s not the most interesting part of the story. These characters are in a vacuum where we know nothing of their past or future…it’s just this moment and their selfish choices to be the ones to break and control the story. Lacking any humanity towards why and who and how this got this way.

I’m not impressed by Leo. He delivers a performance that is a strong echo of previous sleaze he’s played before. He wasn’t The character, he was Leo.
Also Marty Marty Marty. This story deserved a miniseries. Not a rush of gore. Editing wise-there were too many dropped balls.
I’m not a fan. Wish the story was given more. You spend so much time on the one set of villains that you don’t realize that the terror was threatening every Osage, not just this family.
