  I’m not the biggest musical fan, which may or may not make me uncultured. But this movie was great. Knowing the original storyline made it easier to follow along, but I’d say it’s an enjoyable watch regardless (more so for the culture).

  The cast was excellent. Danielle Brooks and Fantasia were hooping.

  Here’s the thing: we shouldn’t continue normalizing three hour movies. Hope made a good point about directors thinking they’re creating the next great film by making it longer but they’re really just diluting the product.

  I enjoyed how this film humanized Batman compared to the DK series. Showing the laborious work of creating and maintaining records; solving riddles by hand; engaging a quasi base-jumping suit to hastily escape police custody, I loved it all, and it made Batman more relatable.…
