believe it or not, I’ve never actually watched this whole thing start to finish. But I’ve seen Epic Movie so I got the gist.
For real, I was pleasantly surprised with it, the source material is adapted quite well. The pacing is a little all over the place, but honestly the book is too. They manage to make the kids at least a little bit more developed than the cardboard cutouts they are in the book. Oh except Susan. They did her dirty, she somehow ends up worse. Justice for Susan.

If you’re wondering, I owned an audio recording of this movie on cassette tape, which I listened to every night as I went to sleep for essentially my entire childhood. So, yes, I can recite it from memory.
