The Holiday 2006
Honestly shocked I have not seen this before. Really, really enjoyed Cameron Diaz and Jude Law’s relationship in this film. Enjoyed a great laugh watching them and the inner monologue of Diaz’s character. I really, really loved Jack Black and Eli Wallach’s characters. Miles was just a pure soul that saw the best in people and Arthur was the perfect old man to live in such a lavish area. To be completely honest, Kate Winslet is not my favorite and I didn’t love, love her in this but felt her character was still necessary to hit the plot in LA vs London.

Lone Survivor 2013
A tragic real life story brought to screens. I learned about Marcus Luttrell a few years ago and his story but had never seen the screen adaptation. However, visually seeing his story play out was a different experience completely. As a viewer, I was sobbing (like can’t see the screen and need a towel kind of sobbing) and scared for them as I watched their fate and love for each other come to an end. Walking on Sunshine 2014
The reason I watched this movie was because I thought the main guy was hot and the film was giving a cheaper Mamma Mia, only it being the Italian version. I think the movie was just that and the musical numbers made you smile. Nice feel good, mindless movie.
