as a nasty, gory torture-porn-influenced thing, this is alright; as a Leatherface origin story, it's unnecessary, unimaginative, and misunderstands the character. Still better than some other TCM sequels/prequels/rehashes/cash grabs, though.
Robert Zombie's entries in the Hallowe'en franchise are, um...flawed pieces of work. I still feel compelled to give 'em a rewatch once every few years when they're in season, though, which I guess says something. Bruce Lee kicks ass...eventually
too much time between fights, but the story isn't bad, and when the fights do happen, you see why this is the movie that made Lee a star.
