RoboCop 2 1990
Nobody is going to argue that Robocop 2 is as good as Robocop, that would just be silly. But, I do think Robocop 2 gets unfairly tossed aside when it’s a solid film in its own right.
At the end of the day, I think Irwin Kirshner just isn’t the right person for this. This movie doesn’t have fun making people’s eyes explode the way the first one does. But it’s not short on ideas. There’s plenty of interesting threads…

The Fog 1980
I think part of getting older as a horror fan is wondering if The Fog is better than Halloween. I’m not saying that it is, but every time I put it on I find myself more appreciative of the older characters and the awesome effects of this movie. It’s a gem, start to finish.
