Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 2024
Very cool and enjoyable! I probably wouldn't be super keen on watching this at home, and I think it was reaaally helped by the fact that I watched it in a cinema. It was so colourful and the awesome practical sfx were really effective and seamless and charming. I haven't seen the original because I am a tiny baby. Any movie with a sand worm is good in my book, and I like how the sand wurm was made to look like it was animated in a lower frame rate than the rest of the film.

I really really liked it, even though I understood 0.2% of the dialogue and didn't have subtitles. The characters are so whimsically expressive, and combined with a wonderful (and teary) explanation of the important dialogue from Nikki I feel like I get it enough to say that I watched it :3
