The Big Risk 1960
Pretty good! (Melville would have nailed down the ending though)

Narrow Margin 1990
Nice to see ol’Gene having a laugh and slugging back a Labatt’s Blue.

Escape from New York 1981
“Tell this to the workers when they ask where their leader went. We, the soldiers of The National Liberation Front of America, in the name of the workers and all the oppressed of this imperialist country, have struck a fatal blow to the fascist police state. What better revolutionary example than to let their president perish in the inhuman dungeon of his own imperialist prison!”

The 7th Annual Live 'On Cinema' Oscar Special 2020
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This annual special hasn’t disappointed yet.
Love how it sticks to the same familiar beats (Greg’s video features, Tim gets drunk, the whole falls apart, etc.) while continuing to push things in increasingly darker directions.
Ten minutes of a locked camera on a gassed out studio full of asphyxiating characters!
And the final shot presumably dead new age pastor is the macabre cherry on top. Humorous and unsettling.Translated from by
