    "People are amazing"

    There was an aspect of this film that, even before my first viewing, i was feeling apprehensive about. Is it exploitative? More than likely, yes. Could it be seen as phobic in some respects? It’s not unreasonable to think so. However, being distanced from certain elements of the film’s subject matter while feeling a deep connection to many others, I can only speak from my own perspective and personal experience of the movie.

    This is sadly another case of Joker (2019). Just like Joker took "inspiration" from Taxi Driver and The King of Comedy, The Batman did the same thing with Zodiac, Chinatown and Se7en. The funny thing is that even though the movie is extremely unoriginal the rest is so goddamn good that it still deserves a good rating.
