Wonderful music, horrible message.
I knew the story going into it as I am familiar with the musical but the message stays the same. They also cut some of the best songs from the show. The "sincerely me" sequence was tons of fun and almost got an extra star from it alone, but with the changed lyrics and cut songs I refrained. The new songs are pleasant and the movie handled the accountability for Evan better than in the play.…
