The time stuff is weird in this. Is it 100 years or 1000 years? I really don't understand. The characters seem to be split on the issue. The acting is kind of shoddy. Keep working on it and I am sure you will have something good though.

I am going to explain what I think the movie means.
It's a narrative metaphor of a man that has lived his entire life as a wallflower, someone on the outside looking in. He never lived his own life, and eventually the people in his life realized this, so they left him in their pasts. Towards the end of the movie he switches to a different "character." The original person takes his place, and begins to tell him what to do. I think that this was him realizing that he gets to make his own decisions. That's just what I think though.
