    Need to watch it again. Didn’t realize it was Jim Jarmusch when I saw the insanely dated poster but thought it would be fun. Instead of the campy, goofy 90s action film I expected it’s a mostly meditative look at culture. We are all apart of one story yet we all have our own perspective, our own culture. Despite what we might think we aren’t so different. Nothing makes sense and yet everything does.

    Could see this going up on rewatch, loved it. Legitimately the most fascinating thing a big name director has made in recent memory. Experimental in its execution and how it plays with cliches of haunted house movies. Obviously it was billed as said haunted house film but it’s truly the opposite of the spooky ghost movie you’d expect.
