Wendy and Lucy 2008
I’ve seen Wendy & Lucy around 3 times, but all before I started logging my movie watches and rating movies on Letterboxd around 2017.
With this re-watch I’m trying to mark the end of an era of catching up with cinema history that I’ve missed. My way to do that was a bit obsessive, I set the 100% completion of certain lists as a target to chase. From the top of my head, this is what I completed:

April, April! 1935
Not a bad comedy, but a few times it happens that there is a funny situation building that resolves immediately in a trivial unfunny way. Later it becomes something more complex, but time was wasted making it not funny.

Fire of Love 2022
I didn’t expect to be actually moved by this film, but I was. I have difficulty putting into words exactly what I think, but IMHO this movie made the right choice to focus on mood, images and fragments rather than attempt to tell a great human scale story when one character is 4 billion years old.
