An American Werewolf in London 1981
This is such a perfect blend of humor and existential horror. It isn't that this movie isn't cheesy, but I think they add enough harrowed stares and moments of genuine terror. The violence is perfectly short. I just really loved this. Even down to the main character's nightmares, it is just so awesome.
