It is a passable good time, with a lot of the credit for that going to Jack Quaid’s quirky likability. I was also surprised and thankful that there was some sadness to the lead character and that his condition was initially taken seriously (until the movie kicks into gear and starts to treat him like Wile E. Coyote, of course).
The story doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it captures the essence and charm of the looney tunes, while still adding a few modern touches. Bottom line: It’s a ton of fun.
Uses Channing Tatum really well and gets the vibe right, but there is just not much to the story or characters.
An incredibly immersive and touching look into the lives of a family that had to endure more than one can imagine. I have thought Efron was a good actor for a while, but this is on another level. His character will stay on my mind for a long time.
