This movie is like a nature valley bar of emotions. It’s punchy, dense, and you’ll be finding crumbs in your chair later after the dust has settled. Paul Thomas Anderson delivers more with each word than most writers can in a whole scene. Glued to the screen, and drunk with anxiety, you’re carried from perfect scene to perfect scene each giving you a new question to think on. I was pleasantly surprised that I loved this movie as much as I did, and I just can’t wait for the second watch.

It’ll make you cry, it’ll make you cry, and it’ll make you cry. Chris Sanders delivers another heart wrencher centered on family. You’ll find no shortage of positive accolades surrounding this 98% on rotten tomatoes film. It’s animated, scored, and written beautifully. My only negative note is that I find it the film tries to do too much. It’s a lesson on environmental issues, it’s a family story, invokes nature vs nurture, it’s a commentary on the sedentary lifestyle tech…
