In the Mood for Love by Wong Kar-wai is, without a doubt, one of the greatest romantic films ever made, despite the fact that you never see a kiss.
Chow and Su's circumstances are parallel but they diverge dramatically. Chow is ready to leave everything behind, to start all over again, even if it means stepping into an uncertain future. Su however, can't overcome the guilt that makes her feel like she has a duty towards her unloyal husband.
