I can't get over how much I love this film, this is my 3rd time seeing it and it's such an experience each and every time. I usually hate rewatching films but Wong Kar Wai is a genius at getting me in my feels.

I honestly don't know how to rate this film, technically it's incredibly effective as a thrilling drama, the script is tense, performances enthralling, the editing is a masterclass in the way it mixes archival footage and film.
So I guess my problem is of the conceptualism of the film. It isn't trying to be political, that much is certain, it plays it as far down the middle as you can. Showcase Israeli victims of terror, while also showing anti-Arab sentiment…

The greatest media I've ever consumed. I first watched this as a child with my dad every sunday. Returning to it, left me apprehensive, worried of tainting dear memories, It was for nought as the show is just as good as when I was wide eyed. A masterpiece in epic storytelling.
