Mirror reminds you of the things you’ve forgotten to remember -the love you didn’t return, the time you wasted, the mother you never truly understood. Watching it is like ripping stitches you didn’t even know were there.
Mid-film, i found myself lost in thought, suddenly aware that i didn’t know my grandmother’s name. How strange, to not know the name of someone who shaped the world you inhabit. “Grandma” was all she was: a title, a role, an identity erased behind affection.
