The Brutalist 2024
I wanna say that I’m at least impressed by the scale and ambition of this, but that’s ultimately its problem. A lot of stuff happens, a long and very rich time period is covered— but it doesn’t really say anything.

Took a $40 Uber from the Venetian to see this in another shittier casino cause there aren’t any theaters on the strip for some reason. Also Vegas feels literally exactly how it’s depicted in Twin Peaks the Return— anyone who said the final season was boring or “didn’t make sense” doesn’t understand America.
