Most unsettling sound design of the year? I also really appreciated how composition was used for visual discomfort and uncertainty rather than random trick-pulling. Who needs jumpscares when you have all this other good stuff!

One of the most universal stories I've seen in a long time. Even though this was about a married couple in their 60s, it brought me back to the visceral, painful yearning of navigating friendship dynamics as a kid.
