  so many thoughts.. i’ve been a lifetime miyazaki fan and this movie felt so personal. a deep reflection on death, his art, and his legacy. the surrealism made it feel dreamy in the way dreams are weird, same with the disorienting/jumpy pacing (could be just me, idk how how to place).  it reflects the weirdness of the artistic process and throwing everything at the wall. a very special movie, can’t wait to rewatch in sub.
