A collection of excellent scares, thrills, and tricks that make a wonderfully horrific dream.

What works so well about this film is the blending of reality and dream. While this is not the first film to do this, the playing up of everyday fears makes its use of this element so effective. The horrors play into our expectations, but like a great joke, they play with and subvert them.
