Sean Tamba Pro

Probably the king of 3 Star reviews. Won’t give a movie 5 stars unless I love it after multiple viewings. From Hawaii.

Our 3 main actors were all great. A movie like this doesn’t work if they all don’t bring their A game. I enjoyed the dialogue and the questions they ask. I found the subject matter to be very interesting. And just when you think you know exactly where it’s going, it flips the script on you. And with a movie really only portraying 3 characters, that’s a hard thing to do but this pulls it off so well. Def not scary, more of a suspense/thriller that’s very dialogue driven as opposed to horror and action.

Not my kinda movie but I still enjoyed it. It had great dialogue which was surprising to me. The pacing was good for a 2 hour film. I enjoyed the performances as well, but did find the mother extremely annoying and maybe that’s the point but every time she was on screen I wanted her to not be. Great soundtrack as well. But I don’t have the urge to ever want to watch this again.

Just an unbelievable ride. John Wick 4 has everything you want in a John Wick film and more. The action was top notch once again. The addition of Donnie Yen was simply brilliant. The choreography, cinematography, score, everything was awesome even with my high expectations. All the new characters fit in perfectly and the pacing was great. It doesn’t feel like a 3 hour movie. I could go on and on but I don’t want to spoil it. Just watch it! This will probably be my favorite movie of the year.

Very impressed considering I went in with high expectations because of good word of mouth. It’s brutal when it needs to be and while there isn’t any jump scares, the tension it’s able to build and maintain throughout certain scenes was awesome. It also keeps you guessing until the final act. The best horror movie of the year so far in my opinion.
