we're all having fun here but the ending seems like fargeat ran out of steam and just was like okay yeah fuck it firehose of blood and uhhhhh a walking face creature to get us back to the bookend. sorted. like it hit an over the top note that wasn't necessarily present in the rest of the movie.
YES it was cool and crazy and insane but seemed like the result of having written into a corner but just wanting to wrap this baby up.overall though a well-thought out horror movie with themes! and meanings! and practical effects thank fucking god

pretty good! considering the only other lanthimos ive seen is dogtooth this has 100% reduction in scenes that made me feel sick. the story was dare i say even predictable. the thing is ... i also wouldve been over lady marlborough's mean powerbroker schtick. queen anne was justified in trying to fuck around. the near-fisheye lens and delish sets/costumes kept things interesting. also we love bunnies!!
