The final moments of the movie when her eyes lit up seeing Rubens on the TV was incredibly touching, and a powerful reminder that love endures beyond death and beyond memory. I’m glad I didn’t know it was a true story until the end, made it all the more heartbreaking, but also satisfying to know what she did for her family and her county. Fuck tyranny
