Watched this movie with my dad on the last day it was in theatres . Cried a lot, towards the end. Merit and her grandpa’s relationship was beautiful. When they went out for 4th of July and her gramps stood up when all the veterans were honored. Ugh 😣😣. and when she finally lets Zoe go. Tears on ten. Definitely a little slow in the beginning but from the point she visits the cabin, the story picks up and you’re totally in it. Honorable mentions: Morgan Freeman 😮
This movie is slept on/unknown but I’d highly recommend.

Incredible. I think we live so finitely, so two-dimensionally, and here comes this outdoor perspective that says, “The heart’s not like a box that gets filled up, it expands in size the more you love.” This movie rewired my brain a little, told me that love ought to be both altruistic and selfish, but nonetheless, free.
