This movie has been on my watchlist for a while and I’m beyond glad that I finally watched it with my parents. Sometimes, the viewing experience is elevated with the right company. A tale about family deserves to be seen with your family.

Hailed popularly as one of the best-loved Hindi films in the past decade, I was intrigued by the appeal of the movie from afar through the brilliant, heavenly soundtrack of Rockstar.
I was expecting clichés that Bollywood can never get enough, as usual. The first half was mildly entertaining. Ranbir Kapoor is just good at anything he does honestly - charismatic, expressive and hard to miss. His performance combined with A.R Rahman's musical genius makes up the good bits.
