  An immoral ending befitting of a character so void of any human values, it’s unfair to call him morally corrupt. 

  Jake Gyllenhaal was outstanding in this, as was Riz Ahmed. Lou is such a bewildering and slimy character, and Gyllenhaal embodied him perfectly. 

  My heart was kept racing during the entirety of the final act, with such an impressive build up of tension that was maintained throughout.

  They say a mothers love for her son is unconditional. But to what extent. 

  It’s best to know as little as possible going in, about this one, but it might be one of my favourite films of the year so far.
