Had to cleanse myself of the Kneecap watch of this weekend (they are completely different movies that aren’t worth comparing, movies about Irish musicians). The filmmaking and writing in Sing Street is far beyond Kneecap.
Anyway, the scene that stuck out was the “music video” at the prom. Kind of a false climax, but really shows the character in a happy, but sad, way.
