Everything before the main conflict and before Ne Zha learns his lesson to become a better person is not my fav. He’s a little nitwit asshole who lowkey made me side with the villagers. But, once he realizes he’s loved or wtvr then the movie gains this epic tone that I enjoyed seeing. I wish I could have had that for the whole time.
2 more things: the ending is wildly abrupt and the comedy falls real flat.

My only complaint is that it ends very suddenly and doesn’t have any finality to it, but other than that holy shit this is amazing. It’s unbelievable to think that this is primarily made by a single person, Gints Zilbalodis you are an extraordinary talent. The story between the animals along with the world building are both incredibly compelling. And the animation is SO FUCKING GOOD. If you haven’t seen this, drop everything and watch it ASAP.
Why did they have to keep making up stupid reasons to get every character to have conflict with each other? There were times where characters were fighting each other and I had no idea why they would want to do that, they just did.
