  Lil Petey the kitty made this movie. Without him, it’d be 1 star. It had some funny, silly, and tender moments that made for an enjoyable family film.

  Disclaimer: I am biased because Andrew Garfield is *just like heaven* and he is The Cure to my soul ;). 

  So much I want to say. Short version: I loved this story. I did not expect to laugh as much as I did. Garfield and Pugh were beautiful together, bringing the human experience to life each in unique ways—phenomenal performances. Aaron Dressner’s music was stunning and foundational to the heart of this film. Bring. Tissues.

  Watched this with the fam since it’s my husband’s favorite film (and it was his birthday). I have seen this movie many times, but it’s been around a decade since I saw it last. I appreciate this film so much more after living more of my life. Thankful to have films directed by Terrance Malik. (My kids actually watched the entire thing without complaint—although my 11-year old daughter did whisper to me towards the end: “Mom, respectfully, is it almost over?” ;)

Following
