It’s hard to separate the ABC sports station POV (which this story is about) versus the real-life terrible events they are covering in the movie versus the terrible, complicated politics of today.
From the angle it’s trying to show, it’s a solid film - but I couldn’t help but think about the latter items throughout and “hey, am i watching propaganda?”
I don’t know if there’s a better-suited time for this movie to come out, but I don’t think 2024/2025 was the correct choice.
