Much like Oppenheimer and all these giant movies from acclaimed, mainstream directors, they're good, they're unbelievably well made, but they're also nothing I'll ever think about again. In terms of accomplishing what I believe they set out to do, it seems flawless (aside from some poor editing). In terms of my personal enjoyment, I mostly enjoyed watching it in the moment, but, again, I'll never think about it again. It was also too long.

Absolute garbage. Unintelligible without subtitles. Logical flaws for fun. Kristen Stewart looks like Eminem. Hidden Cristiano Ronaldo reference. Don't watch.

    “This house is ours.”

The Others is an extremely generic movie with a silly plot twist thrown in last minute. This film is absolutely nothing new: basic 2000’s horror/thriller look, mediocre acting, half-decent storyline, very poor plot twist. Whereas a well thought out plot twist will ultimately give you two good watches--the first watch and then the second, where you notice all the hints--this film is undeserving of even one watch, in my opinion. Really, I don’t have much more to say. It is simply a forgettable film, and most definitely not worth your time.

Less of a movie, and more of an observation on a homeless family in Taipei. I honestly enjoyed the first hour of this, finding it quite interesting that tone and the foundation of a narrative were created through a series of very long takes without dialogue. However, the foundation crumbled, and the narrative never really took off. Instead, the film seemed to focus on tone built through shots that were held for an increasingly annoying amount of time. And don’t…
