Both Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt put in amazing work, possibly the best performance, or at least close to it, of each of their careers. Despite its length this movie never remotely feels like it drags. Quentin Tarantino's warmest movie, filled with a deep love for its main characters, especially Margot Robbie's Sharon Tate. (This is especially surprising coming after The Hateful Eight, which might be his most mean-spirited). Everything works, everything feels earned (including THAT ending), and there are quite a few scenes I'd put up there with Tarantino's best. Top-tier Tarantino and one I can't wait to watch again.
