yes it is perfect to see at the holidays with your Bob Dylan dad and if you live close to the movie theater there is just enough time to sing the entire length of like a rolling stone with him on the way home!!!!
Very into the Guthrie scenes but they’re cowards for not including v influential Greenwich-folk-era character Allen Ginsberg just bc he’s not pc (Dylan isn’t either!!!!!!!)

this was one that really grew on me!! separate windows into different lives that build on each other, with a filmmaker that becomes more visible as it goes on- I liked how first we just saw what she saw, then we heard her narrate what she saw, and then we saw her.
Also any movie that includes old people talking about when they first fell in love is getting a 10/10 from me !
gene kelly’s pirate dance onesie is the IDEAL going out fit for the girls. the way he belted it??? come on
