  god i just felt like i was floating around in a bottle of syrup for a couple hours after i watched this, like when you just went through a breakup and you have to make a to do list of things like “brush teeth” and “make dinner”. farrell was miraculous. i initially said it was a love letter to stubbornness, but it’s actually clearly a hate letter. love how this director does his transitions, often filled with animals and scenery shots that feel very purposeful and informative as opposed to a time filler

  I wish I had been shaken by the shoulders to watch this sooner what the hell. IT’S SO FUNNY? The way Alan Rickman is just being Snape is awesome. I absolutely loved the dynamic between the cool guy cop Al and his shitty captain, and the general idea that people trying to help were doing anything but that. So many fun memorable characters and I assumed I would get bored of it along the way but it kept just leveling…
