  Good buildup as well as premise then goes ahead and goes way overboard (at the great expense of logic and quality). Well shot, but had a lot to gain from more work on the story/script.

  They frontloaded this movie with an obscene about of f-bombs. Accents seem to come and go at will as well. Got some good moments in there, but maybe too Saw like with it's kills to match the humourous vibe they were seemingly trying to establish.

  Saw this today at the BFI for the London Film Festival and I absolutely loved it. Going to be making it into my top ten movies for sure (might even go top 5). Such a clear visual style and wonderful performances. Love the multiple genres knocking around and reminds me of another favourite of mine "A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night". These are the sort of stylish and creative movies I want to make. Highly highly highly suggest a watch!

  Quite enjoyable watch that has strength in having a wider world than many films of a similar nature (I was worried at the start the whole thing would be in the manor/woods). Avantika Vandanapu continues her brilliant rise following Mean Girls earlier this year and Jacob Batalon brings some levity to proceedings, but besides that performances were at a B-horror level. Overall a decent ol' watch and one to put on the watchlist for this upcoming spooky season.
