I’ve never seen a stalker story told with such care, nuance, and emotional complexity. And it’s based on a true story, making it all the more heart-wrenching. It’s raw, quirky, painful. We only get a glimpse of the nightmare Gadd lived in for years, and I cannot stop thinking about it! So brilliantly written. Absolutely blown away by Jessica Gunning’s performance. Although it’s definitely my favorite series of the year so far, I recommend checking the trigger warnings before viewing. It is NOT an easy watch.

Little Women 2019
This film felt like the epitome of white feminism. I mean it literally takes place during the civil war, but all we see are the poor troubles of middle class white women. I liked Amy’s character, but beside her, I found the plot dry and boring and couldn’t connect with the characters.
I get that some films just aren’t made for you. But if so, it’s a little weird to make a film about female empowerment but then limit which women get to feel empowered.
I do not think we needed a remake.
