  It is CRAZY how much PTA just made Magnolia the same only 6 years later. Obv know Altman a big influence on him but really blew my mind how similar they are

  Mebe I should start lb again 🤔

  Somehow missed Ben wheatley completely and hadn’t seen any of his films
  Thought this was fucking great
  I love the Essex suburbia low budget come dine with me vibe of lots of it
  There’s something so weirdly dark about just completely unchanged British suburban setting at night. That aspect of it had echoes of Under The Skin for Me
  Visually the last 30 mins was amazing
