  Idk why scrutinizing or purposely dissecting this movie feels weird and wrong to me. Maybe it’s because 80% of this movie is from a kid’s POV. The script and the act (improvised or not) felt so natural. I felt gullible to lean into their little world. It felt completely innocent and vulnerable. Just like the movie itself. Criticizing it under scrutiny just feels weird. It is perfect for what it is. Even the ending yes.
