The Midwestern ethos of this film is incredibly powerful. A hilarious one of a kind comedy with distinct and fun characters. Farley at his absolute peak both individually and as a duo with Spade. The jokes have (mostly) aged shocking well. A film just packed with heart and personality. Truly does everything a comedy should and does it to perfection.

Good movie, but the last 30 or so minutes are an absolute trainwreck of cheese, bad slowmo cuts, wack camera work, and Disney tier sports drama. Some awful and obnoxious product placement throughout.
As someone that loves talking trash, when Harrelson got “in the zone” I absolutely felt that. Timeless fashion throughout this thing. Harrelson and Snipes have great chemistry. Good, charming fun.
This is the best example of a movie that’s 5 stars when you’re a 15 year old boy and quickly decreases as you age.
