This was a beautiful, comedic movie to watch while sick. A failing marriage set against the contradiction between high society and the ordinary working class life and their day-to-day lives. From the pachinko machines to cozy, affordable ramen places to the girls' night at the spa, to the growing resentment of a wife who hates her husband and the niece's rejection of feudalistic futures — this film was a breath of fresh air.
