  If you are looking for a good Shakespeare adaptation, check to make sure it has the following elements:
  - Gender bending
  - It's a tragedy, but it's a comedy
  - Giant black cape
  - German
  - Made in 1921
  - It's actually this movie. This is the only good Shakespeare adaptation.

  Spoiler alert
  I wish I figured out that this movie was about a narcissistic man with dimentia earlier because then I wouldn't have been so disappointed that the woman was not the lead in the end. :(
  Lots of things to love here though.
  Phenomenal acting all around.
  Cinematography was scary af.
  Just wish it was a feminist movie about the triple horror of marriage, aging, and death. But it turns out it is just another movie about the narcissism of the male psyche, making it 100000% more conventional than it had the potential to be. At the very least I respect Charlie Kaufman's self-awareness...
