For anyone thinking of watching this film, get high first.

I thought the film was slow and slightly dull until I decided to get high 5 minutes before the dinner table scene started and honestly couldn’t believe my eyes.

Beetlejuice himself did not appear in the film as much as I thought he would but I found him rather funny in a very dodgy way.

Very cool use of stop motion too, can’t fault Tim for that. Think it made some scenes pretty creepy tbf.

Christian Bale was the one and only option to play Patrick Bateman.

It’s a hilariously gross film and actually pretty comedic too.

Accidentally getting involved with a guy in the loo instead of strangling him was also a highlight of this film.

    Man’s got lots of videotapes.

Boy, am I sucker for quiet films with beautiful scenery.

The comparison and similarity between Nora’s life and husband in New York and her Korean childhood and identify that is amplified through her connection with Hae Sung is subtle and overwhelming in parts.

I wasn’t disappointed by the end but I couldn’t help but want a different outcome for her and Hae Sung after seeing such a bond between them. I know it was only going to end one way though, and it was still beautiful.

I loved Hae Sung’s character and emotional vulnerability despite Nora’s stubbornness at times, he was the real star.

A rewatch of this film left me just as traumatised as the first time I’d watched it.

Last time I saw such a horrifying example of a cgi face was that little twerp from Twilight: Breaking Dawn and there really isn’t much competition in that category.

I genuinely can’t see this actor in any other way now other than a perverted vicar with hair as flat as a pancake. I hope he knows this.
