“what we do in life, echoes in eternity” ♾️
Okay yeah this is possibly one of the most conflicting but yet amazing films I've seen to date. What I've come to realize as I've become more immersed in David Lynch's work is that interpretation is everything even whenever it's not always necessarily right. Fred, who we as the audience are set to believe is our main protaganist has a really interesting quote about this, "I like to remember things my own way. How I remembered them, not necessarily the…
“If we are to tame darkness we must first face that it exists”
I was absolutely floored experiencing Nosferatu, horror movies have never been more back. I am completely obsessed with the esthetic of this film, from the dark and cool colors, the set design, the 19th century feel, it all comes together and feels truly authentic. Adrien Brody acting masterclass on display here, no doubt about that. His performance delivered on all of the emotions that were trying to be conveyed, they especially did a great job contrasting his journey along with his destination…
Oh to be a kid again running around getting into trouble with no worries and sense of realization of all of the serious stuff going on around.
The Florida Project is one of the most beautiful yet emotionally packed films I've seen to date. Really raw emotions are all throughout, it's almost like a documentary how well this depicts the struggle of young adulthood, growing up financially unstable, and just the care free feeling of being a kid.
Sean Baker…
