For all the external political noise in this movie I think I enjoyed the undercurrents of dissatisfaction the most. Short lines and small interactions that kept breaking my heart for Mickey 17 were performed deftly to direct the viewers feelings and revealed the true message of the movie. That we can all see ourselves in both versions of Mickey makes his triumphs and losses our own.

I love the people commenting that this is a Trump/Elon impersonation when this movie…

Easily the worst war movie I've ever seen. As if Serbs would ever deny their war crimes

Unfair to have the likes of Denzel, Hackman, Gandolfini, and Viggo in one movie not to mention Hans Zimmer's score pumping up the tension. I miss Tony Scott and this movie is probably his best work.

I had never heard of this movie and then watching Signs got me on a Mel Gibson kick. I think that this movie really showed off his acting (and directing) chops and although dated, I enjoyed the way it explored themes of prejudice, trauma, and judgement. I think it also accurately portrayed the generation that made my customer service job a living hell and it was justifying to see a contemporary judgement of them. I probably won't rewatch the movie but it's worth seeing and tackled its issues well.
