It’s unfortunate that I already knew most of the crazy bad things about this movie before going in, but that’s bound to happen with something as canonically bad as the room. It achieves that transcendent badness quite often, which is good, but it’s not as exciting as I’d hoped.
The main thing I’m glad about is that now when I say “I’m actually a big fan of so-bad-it’s-good-movies!” I won’t be stumped when people say “oh so you’ve seen the room?”
It’s an accessible bad movie, but there’s more amusing trash out there as you develop your own pallette
