  There's so much to be said about this movie (the exploitation of female bodies, the wealthy's relationship with sex and how it intertwines with power, the psychological and emotional turmoil around desire and its consequences on a failing marriage), but part of me can't stop thinking this is what the Scientology Church looks like behind closed doors lol.

  First of all, this movie was fun-ny okay!??

  Very modern for its time in terms of dialogue, love scenes, the capitalism +wealth hoarding critical subtext, and we often forget that women using marriage as a socio economic ladder or gateway to a privileged life is not just something that came to be in the twenty first century (gild diggers and sugar babies galore), but is a situation that's old as time.
