The Forger 2014
I enjoyed this one. It's fine and kinda run of the mill. The performances are fine, the story is fine, it's all just fine. Not an intense drama or an overly goofy comedy, just... fine. Yeah it could be better, but if you're looking for a father/son drama with a heist story at its heart, then yeah check this out. If you don't mind inconsistent Boston accents, an occasional inspired performance or line read, and can get past the weird John Travolta painting scenes, then yeah check this out. It's fine.

(Extended Edition) What a massive waste of time. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug 2013
(Extended Edition). Again, yeah, it's fine. Same gripes with this as I have with the previous Hobbit film. I remember liking this one more, but this time around I felt more blah towards it. Too much CGI, too much bloat that adds nothing of value, and a whole lot of added scenes that tell us the same thing over and over again.
